| In vitro study | Tiagabine is a potent inhibitor of GABA uptake in neuronal cells and glial cells. It is involved in the regulation of GABA levels, especially in the hippocampus and thalamus. Tiagabine not only affects the decay dynamics of IPSCs, but also reduces the frequency of spontaneous and micro IPSCs. |
